The company
Founded in 2008, still building on the same idea.
That good land, planned properly and serviced properly, is worth more than land sold quickly.
CounTree began by developing private land at a time when almost nobody in Pakistan was selling farmhouse plots as a planned community. Buyers were offered either a city plot measured in marlas or raw agricultural land with no services attached. We built the middle ground: land in kanals, with water, power, sewerage and roads put in before a single file changed hands.
That work grew into three strands. Farmhouse land around the motorway corridor south of Islamabad. Hill-station second homes in Murree. And, most recently, a themed lakeside resort on Chak Beli Khan Road that we both built and now run.
Today the group brings together its own board of directors, engineers, architects, project managers and technical professionals, and takes on civil engineering and building projects across Pakistan. Sales and marketing offices in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, London and Istanbul exist so that overseas buyers can deal with us in their own time zone.
